Jennings Brothers Ltd, Castle Brewery, Castlegate, Cockermouth, Cumbria.

Founded at Lorton 1828 and concentrated at Cockermouth by 1887 following purchase of Wyndham’s brewery.

Public company registered in the same year with 41 tied houses.

Purchased by Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries Ltd in 2005 and is still brewing.
