The Orrell family (Arthur, James, and mother Mary) came to the house c1895 as tenants for “a well known private family”.
Previously they had been at the Leeds Arms, 8 Vicar Lane, Bradford. There Arthur had been brewer with his brother and mother also working at the inn.
