Horncastle Old Brewery, St Lawrence Street / Water Mill Road, Horncastle, Lincolnshire.

Originally Scotts. In 1896 Ronald Edwin Prodgers: brewer, maltster and wine & spirit merchant, St Lawrence Street. Office and maltings in Prospect Street.

The Red Lion Brewery (Horncastle) belonged to the Horncastle Old Brewery Ltd estate when Walter Levett purchased it in 1899.

In 1903 Harold Trinder with associate Charles Howland, from Walter Levett. Trinder was also involved with Vale of Evesham in Birmingham as well as Spilsby BCL and Shorts of Tattershall.

Trinder was bankrupt 1904 and auctioned 27th July by Walter Gaunt at the Saracens – probably a mortgage assignee.
