S H Higgs Ltd, Lion Brewery, 20 Castle Street, Reading, Berkshire.

Operated by George Moore until 1877 when it was acquired by Samuel Higgs.

Acquired by Wethered & Sons Ltd. 1953, then a subsidiary of Strong & Co Ltd. and the business was transferred to the Marlow Brewery.
