Acquired by Jessop & Hopewell, who were dissolved in 1890.  
Listed in 1881 as Henry Jessop and by 1889 listed as Jessop & Hopewell.  


Acquired by [[Warwicks & Richardsons Ltd]].
In 1891 they bought the Cromwell Brewery to form the Newark Brewery Co, which then became part of Newark & Sheffield Breweries Ltd.

Henry Jessop, Rutland Brewery, 5 Barnbygate, Newark on Trent, Nottinghamshire.

Listed in 1881 as Henry Jessop and by 1889 listed as Jessop & Hopewell.

In 1891 they bought the Cromwell Brewery to form the Newark Brewery Co, which then became part of Newark & Sheffield Breweries Ltd.

Acquired by Warwicks & Richardsons Ltd. in 1892.
