Hall & Woodhouse Ltd, New (Blandford) Brewery, Blandford St Mary, Dorset. Brewers’ Journal 15th June 1899

Hall & Woodhouse Ltd, Badger Brewery, Blandford St.Mary, Dorset.

Founded 1777 at Ansty and acquired Neame & Trew (late John Hector) of Blandford St Mary in 1883 with 12 houses. Operated both sites until a new brewery was built in 1900.

Registered 8th June 1898 to acquire Hall & Woodhouse Ltd of Ansty and Blandford and Godwin Brothers, Durweston, total of 105 houses.

Ansty brewery closed c.1900.

Still independent, trading as the Badger Brewery.
