Guy Fernandes (Burnley)

Guy David Louis Fernandes, Old Brewery, Bridge Street, Burnley, Lancashire.

Fernandes was of Portuguese descent, the son of the owner of the Old Bridge Brewery, Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

He married the daughter of John Hargreaves, owner of the Old Brewery, which passed into his control.

Acquired by Grimshaw Ltd. 1918 with 23 public houses and was closed.
