Registered in June 1887 to acquire:
- E.Greene & Son, Westgate Brewery, Westgate Street. Founded 1799.
- F.W.King & Son, St.Edmund's Brewery, Westgate Street. Founded 1868.
The Christmas & Co brewery of Haverhill was acquired in 1918 with 49 public houses. Brewing ceased here in 1924.
In 1925, they acquired Bailey & Tebbutt Ltd of Cambridge with 48 houses. This brewery was closed in 1957.
In 1930, they acquired Ogden & Sons of March with 34 houses.
Merged with Rayment & Co. Ltd in 1931. This brewery was closed in 1987.
In 1961, they acquired Wells & Winch Ltd of Biggleswade with 287 public houses. This brewery was closed in 1997.
In 1999, they acquired Morland & Co. Ltd of Abingdon, and this brewery was closed.
In 2005, they acquired Belhaven Brewery Co. Ltd. of Dunbar. This brewery is still brewing.
They acquired Ridley & Sons Ltd of Hartford End in 2006 with 73 houses and sold the Ridley site for redevelopment.
