Davenports, 11 New Street, Smethwick, West Midlands, B66 2AJ

Smethwick-based Empire Star acquired the former Highgate Brewery: Highgate & Walsall Brewery Co. Ltd, together with the Davenport's brands, in about 2006.

In about 2015 (?), they established a brand new brewery in New Street, Smethwick.

The company's website [[1]] gives a history of the Davenport company, together with old films and TV adverts.
