Crown Brewery, High Street, Hungerford, Berkshire

From the Brewing Trade Review, October 1893:

"The Crown Brewery, Hungerford, owned by Mr Love, was recently destroyed by fire. The brewery, situated near the Corn Exchange, was surrounded by a number of thatched cottages. An old manual engine, over two hundred years old, prevented the extension of the fire to these buildings until the arrival of the brigade with their steam engine. The fire was ultimately extinguished but not until the brewery and plant was completely destoyed."

Then Elisha Love. Offered for auction 1900 and probably bought by Thomas E Crook, who operated it until a receiving order in 1913.
