Crisp Maltings

In 2023, Canada's largest grain wholesaler, Richardson, bought the Crisp Maltings company.

At the time, Crisp had five UK plants:

  • Great Ryburgh, Norfolk (the largest)
  • Ditchingham, Suffolk
  • Mistly, Essex
  • Portgordon, Scotland
  • Alloa, Scotland

There were also plants at Hamburg, Germany (Tivoli Malt) and Bydgoszcz, Poland (Globalmalt).
