A planned merged with Henry and Benjamin Holmes of Hornchurch, Essex to form the [[Hornchurch Brewery Co. Ltd]], never happened and in 1891 the brewery was sold to George Brown.

A planned merged with Henry and Benjamin Holmes of Hornchurch, Essex to form the Hornchurch Brewery Co. Ltd, never happened and in 1891 the brewery was sold to George Brown.

In 1894 he sold the premises to Youell & Elkin Ltd.

Acquired by Page & Overton's Brewery Ltd. 1903.
