The former Crown pub
William Butler was born in Hinckley, Leicestershire in 1843. This blue plaque is displayed on the Greyhound Inn, New Buildings, Hinckley.

Butler's Crown Brewery Ltd, Crown Brewery, 36/37 Broad Street, Birmingham, West Midlands

Registered in January 1895. Merged with Henry Mitchell & Co. Ltd with 130 houses in 1898 to form Mitchells & Butlers Ltd.

Following the closure of the brewery, the Old Crown pub on Broad Street continues to trade; recently it has been called 'Reflex'.
