Brewing commenced April 2007 by Andrew Brough, previously brewer at Sarah Hughes. The original 4-barrel plant was expanded to a 16-barrel plant by 2008. The Kings Head Stable Bar opened next door as the brewery tap.

Brewing commenced April 2007 by Andrew Brough, previously brewer at Sarah Hughes. The original 4-barrel plant was expanded to a 16-barrel plant by 2008. The Kings Head Stable Bar opened next door as the brewery tap. The Stable Bar was independent of the brewery by 2015.
