The lion's heads are survivors of three which held supporting rods supporting a canopy over the hotel entrance (information from Ray Farleigh)

Brewhouse & Kitchen Southbourne (formerly the Pinecliff Hotel), 147 Parkwood Road, Southbourne, Bournemouth, Dorset BH5 2BW

One of a chain of modern brewpubs, opened in April 2016.

This was formerly the Pinecliff Hotel, built by Wimborne brewers George Habgood & Son.
