- Sidney Fussell & Sons Ltd of Rode, Somerset was acquired in 1962 and was closed.
- In 1965, they acquired Hunt, Edmunds & Co. Ltd of Banbury with 187 public houses. Brewing ceased here on 1st May 1967.
The company merged in 1967 with Charrington United Breweries Ltd to form Bass Charrington Ltd.
