Baird (Hugh) & Sons Ltd, 29, St. Vincent Place, Glasgow.

Established in 1823 by Hugh Baird, Succeeded by two sons.

Incorporated as a Limited Company in 1894. Directors: Montagu M. W. Baird (Chairman and Managing Director) (son of Founder), Robert Strathern, W.S., John Kennedy, Robert V. Reid, Franklin M. Baird, J. Russell Wardle. Secretary: Alexander Forsyth.

One of the oldest firms in the trade.

Branches: Greenwich, Liverpool, Sunderland, Grantham, Newbury (Berle).
