Ash Brewery, Ash Inn, Manchester Road, Heaton Norris, Stockport, Greater Manchester

Thomas Froggatt established the Ash Inn and brewery in 1820. James Chetham brewing here in the 1890s.

This home brew house was bought by Daniel Clifton & Co. Ltd in July 1899 and brewing ceased. The pub was rebuilt as the Ash Hotel in 1901. It closed in 2011 and became a cafe and then apartments.
