Aldershot Brewery Co. Ltd, 2 Elms Road, Aldershot, Hampshire.

Registered in 1879 but voluntarily wound up 1880. Re-incorporated on 11 December 1882 as the Aldershot Brewery Company (Limited).

The substantial tower brewery was built in 1881 by Thomas Sheldrake, a brewer from Ipswich, designed by local architect John St Clair Mulley. It was offered for auction in September 1891 and registered as the Crown Brewery Aldershot Ltd. in 1892.

However, this ceased to exist within a few days and was dissolved September 1896.

The site was then occupied by the Army & Navy Co-operative Breweries Co. Ltd. until 1902. George Heath is listed in 1903 and was acquired by Lascelles, Tickner & Co. Ltd in 1906.

More information about brewing in Aldershot can be found in the BHS Journal article: "DOOMED TO FAILURE? THE HISTORY OF BREWING IN ALDERSHOT" by Roger Deason
