Harrup Atkinson, California Brewery, Kirkstead, Lincolnshire.
Merged with the Phoenix Brewery Co. of Horncastle 1914 to form the Horncastle & Kirkstead Brewery Co. Ltd. registered in 1916.
In 1916 J W Atkinson of Syke Farm sold the Brewery with the Railway Hotel to the Phoenix for £2,725. Mr Atkinson was the only son of the late Harrup Atkinson, who had been in possession over 50 years.
