Merged with the Newark Brewery Co. in 1891 to form the [[Newark & Sheffield Breweries Co. Ltd]]. Wound up in 1895 and the Sheffield brewery and 14 houses were sold to [[John Smith's Tadcaster Brewery Co. Ltd]] and the brewery closed.
