Established 1865. Edwin Pickles & Co. bankrupt in 1868. Samuel Frederick Roberts listed c.1872 to c.1890. Ferrand Swithenbank (of the Bridge Street Brewery) c.1891, died 1907. Executors of Swithenbank listed 1907 to 1914 when brewery was registered. Ceased brewing 1934.

Parts of the buildings were used as a garage.
Samuel Frederick Roberts purchased it in 1873 and died c.1890. His executor, Ferrand Swithenbank, landlord of the Queen Hotel, took control. He died in 1907 and his son with the identical name carried on until its sale in 1914 to L Boocock who then registered it.
 
Ceased brewing 1934. Parts of the buildings were used as a garage.

Horton Old Brewery Co. Ltd, 131 High Street (later the Great Horton Road), Horton, Bradford, West Yorkshire.

Established 1865. Edwin Pickles & Co. bankrupt in 1868.

Samuel Frederick Roberts purchased it in 1873 and died c.1890. His executor, Ferrand Swithenbank, landlord of the Queen Hotel, took control. He died in 1907 and his son with the identical name carried on until its sale in 1914 to L Boocock who then registered it.
