Registered March 1920.  
John Kenyon acquired Hartley and Bell’s Clough Springs Brewery, with 6 houses in 1888.  


Originally brewed at 179 Spa Road, Bolton, before moving to Kenyon's former brewery. Clough Springs Brewery closed after 1928 and became a corn mill. Reopened as above in 1951 but ceased trading 1960 and the trade was acquired by the [[Yorkshire Clubs Brewery Ltd]].  
Closed after take-over by [[Massey's Burnley Brewery Ltd]] in 1928 and became a corn mill.  


[[Gibbs Mew & Co. Ltd]]. of Salisbury, Wilts bought the brewery in 1962 to produce keg beer for Northern clubs.  
Reopened as above in 1951 (see Bolton) with capacity of 500bpw but ceased 1960 and the trade was acquired by the  [[Yorkshire Clubs Brewery Ltd]].
