Merged with Henry Mitchell & Co. Ltd. with 130 houses in 1898 to form Mitchells & Butlers Ltd.
Oddly, Whitbread & Co. Ltd listed here 1921.
The building survived almost into the C21 before falling to the city centre redevelopment.
