Beard Brothers of Castle Gresley acquired Charles Hill & Son of Lichfield Street, and was registered as above 7th January 1893.
In 1901, was acquired by J Marston, Thompson & Son Ltd and the brewery was closed. The buildings were used by the General Forage & Grain Drying Company before demolition in the late 1960s.
