An advert from 1880

Charles Henry Kynaston, Noble Street, Wem, Shropshire.

Started late C18th probably as a farm brewery and malting.

In 1892 Charles Henry Kynaston built a new brewery on gravitational principles.

Acquired by the Shropshire Brewery Co. Ltd. 1898 who then changed their name to the Shrewsbury & Wem Brewery Co. Ltd.
