Built in 1881 by Thomas Sheldrake, a brewer from Ipswich, although the Aldershot Brewery was formed in 1879. It was offered for auction in September 1891 and registered as the Crown Brewery Aldershot Ltd. in 1892. However, this ceased to exist within a few days and was dissolved September 1896.
