Courtesy Roy Denison Ballingall & Son Ltd, Park Brewery, 6 Ash Street & Pleasance Brewery, Dundee, Tayside.
Pleasance brewery founded before 1750 and was acquired by William Ballingall in 1844. Registered October 1897.
Brewing ceased 1964 but they continued in business owning 7 tied houses supplied by Drybrough & Co. Ltd. Closed 12th February 1968 when Drybroughs acquired the public houses.
The brewery features in The Noted Breweries of Great Britain and Ireland by Alfred Barnard published 1890.
