Wort from the lauter tun is collected in a pre-run tank and heated to almost boiling on its way to the copper using this heat exchanger

There are four pots for adding hops, salts and copper finings. A flow of wort collects the solids from the pots to add them to the process

Underneath the 5.2m diameter lauter tun - the large pipes feed the mash in and the 'spokes' collect the wort to a central point. The green bit is part of the central spindle which moves up and down and circulates the raking arms.
