Founded c.1792.

Registered February 1887 as the Redruth Brewery Co. Ltd to acquire the businesses of the Redruth Brewery Co. and W.C.Wickett of Penryn. 115 public houses.

Acquired by Devenish & Co. Ltd of Weymouth 1934 and name changed to Devenish Redruth Brewery Co. Ltd. 1960 and again as above September 1986.

Ceased brewing June 1991 but re-opened under new management. Ceased brewing 2004.

Some buildings remain. The site is being developed for other uses (2017).
