Octagon Brewery Ltd, 5/7 Martin Street, Plymouth, Devon.

Founded 1861 by Joseph Godfrey. 48 public houses. Registered 1899 and was one of the brewery companies sponsored/floated by Allsopp & Sons Ltds.

Acquired by H & G Simonds Ltd in 1954 and brewing ceased 1970.

The garage survives on Sawrey Street, Plymouth, with prominent stone fascia lettering 'OCTAGON . BREWERY . GARAGE'.
