Brewery acquired by George Henry Thatcher of Welton 1893 with 7 tied houses.
In 1896 Thatcher Brothers Ltd with John Scott, father of Captain Scott, as brewery manager.
Brewing ceased 1904 but malting continued until after 1930.
Later a garage but much also residential.
