Daniel Fielding & Sons, White Castle Brewery, Green Lane, Bradshaw / Queensbury, near Halifax, West Yorkshire.
Daniel Fielding [1827-1892], son of Mary Fielding [1808-1873], was born in Thornton.
Originally brewing at Sowerby Bridge as Hainsworth and Fielding in partnership with Edward Hainsworth. The partnership was dissolved on 16 August 1855. "All debts due to and owing by the said co-partnership will be received and paid by the said Edward Hainsworth by whom the said business in future will be carried on."
Daniel's son then Samuel Balme Fielding [1872-1945], born in Bradshaw, at the Bradshaw Row Brewery, Ovenden until 1894 when they moved to the newly built White Castle Brewery nearby at Green Lane. The Bradshaw Row Brewery became Saddle Hall Farm.
Acquired by Samuel Webster & Sons Ltd of Halifax in July 1961 with 19 houses and was closed. Some buildings survive as 'White Castle Court'.
