J Grimshaw Ltd, Keirby Brewery, 15/20 Church Street, Burnley, Lancashire.
Founded in about 1840 by John Keirby jnr at Lob Lane, Marsden, near Burnley. Also known as the Well Hall or House Brewery. Registered in 1897 to acquire the business of James Grimshaw, possibly related to Keirby by marriage.
Acquired by Massey's Burnley Brewery Ltd in 1928 with 120 tied houses.
The Church Street address seems to have been the site of the Keirby Hotel with the brewery on Todmorden Road being closed in 1931.
