Wolverhampton & Dudley Breweries Ltd: Acquisition History

Following the renaming to Marstons plc from 2007:

  • In 2007, they acquired the brewery and small tied estate of Ringwood Brewery, Ringwood, Hampshire. Brewery closed.
  • In 2008, they acquired the brewery and small tied estate of Wychwood Brewery Ltd, Witney, Oxfordshire. Brewery closed.
  • In 2017, they acquired the brewery of Charles Wells Ltd of Bedford. Wells retained its pub estate and the Eagle Brewery was later sold to the Spanish brewer SA Damm.
