William Jeffreys Strange & Sons Ltd, Aldermaston Wharf, The Street, Aldermaston, Berkshire.
Founded 1770 and was bought by Thomas Strange 1833.
Acquired by Strong & Co Ltd. 1945 and the pubs transferred to their subsidiary Wethered & Sons Ltd. in 1949.
Brewing was to continue, but ceased in 1952.
The brewhouse was demolished for a housing development called the Wharf, although the original malthouse and Bridge House, the family home, remain.
