Hush Brewing, Unit 4, Riverside Trading Estate, Navigation Road, Northwich, Cheshire CW8 1BE

HUSH started after meeting at Northwich Home Brew Crew and started brewing commercially in September 2021.

As demand increased owners Chris Birtwistle and Simon Appleton moved into a brand-new brewery at the above address.

The name of the brewery came about when browsing a book from 1877, entitled "A Glossary Of Words Used In The Dialect Of Cheshire" by Lt Col Egerton Leigh, MP. In this book was the term "Hush Shop", meaning "an unlicensed house, where those who can be trusted can get ale or spirits".
