John Metcalfe & Son Ltd, Nidderdale Brewery, High Street, Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire.
Founded 1773 when Elizabeth Metcalfe inherited the George Inn. Registered October 1896. In 1909, arrangements made to amalgamate with John Smith's Tadcaster Brewery Co. Ltd and offered for sale in 1910 with 16 public houses.
Brewing ceased 1912 and 50 barrel plant for sale 10th June. The brewery was converted to flats in the 1980s.
