	Even before the plant was operational my first brew "Scanlon's Spike", after the hedgehog and at 4.5% abv, was brewed under contract by the Rebellion Beer ~~Company~~ at Marlow. It also made an appearance at the "Friendly Bombs Beer Festival" at Slough, earlier this year as well as Ealing, Catford, Doncaster and Milton Keynes. 	I am in the process of running some trial brews through the new plant in the hope that I can switch production of Spike to Yiewsley by Christmas. My first brew there was “Middlesex Gold” launched on 8th May, 1996. It is golden in colour, very hoppy and weighs in at 3.8% abv.
