Stroud Brewery Co. Ltd, Rowcroft, Stroud, Gloucestershire.
Probably founded by the Leversage family at Middle Lypiatt c.1760, though advertising said founded 1800. In 1819 Joseph Watts sole proprietor. Registered in 1888.
With about 643 tied houses, in 1958, they merged with Cheltenham & Hereford Breweries Ltd to form West Country Breweries Ltd. Used as a Whitbread & Co. Ltd depot until 1969 and was demolished in 1970.
