North Street Brewery, 51 North Street, Winchcombe, Gloucestershire.
On the corner of Chandos Street is a sign describing the property as the "Old Brew House"; and an old painted sign on the frontage reads 'NORTH STREET BREWERY'.
The Brewer’s Guardian 29th March 1917 reported the death of Benjamin Combe, one time owner of the North Street Brewery. Combe was also brewing at the Grafton Brewery (Cheltenham).
Notes:
- Gloucestershire Pubs and Breweries by Tim Edgell and Geoff Sandles: They state that by 1896 the Nailsworth Brewery had a holding interest in the premises, which then passed to the Cheltenham Original Brewery in 1908".
- In 1877 there was a North Street Brewery Co trading at Bedminster.
- The Combes of Brockhampton Brewery owned the Pack Horse in Winchcombe.
