James Foster in 1818. In 1878, Richard C Foster sold business to Fred S Applegate of Trowbridge, latter seems to have ceased by 1886.
Ceased brewing in the 1890s, and was advertised for sale in 1893 by Frederick Power. We are unsure who bought the brewery and pubs, but Wilkins Brothers & Hudson Ltd of Bradford-on-Avon bought the Greyhound pub, and this later went to Ushers of Trowbridge.
The Brewery was converted into an architect's office 1964 and later into housing. The buildings are early Victorian and later and are Grade 2 Listed.
