Crooked River Brewing Co, 2 Blooming Heather, Dearham, Maryport, Cumberland, Cumbria CA15 7EF
Established by Phil Scholey and Alan Filton-Crellin in summer 2022. The brewery is named after the Celtic name for Cockermouth Kukra, which translates as The Crooked One. Beers were originally brewed in a nano brewery in a converted garden shed. All beers were canned, just 120 at a time.
In 2023 Alan, who works for Tractor Shed, commissioned Tractor Shed to brew their beers for them, hence now a cuckoo, but he brews the beers!
