A Victorian brewhouse operated at the rear of the Dog & Partridge Hotel (Wigan). Following the closure of the original brewery, the building was used for various industrial and storage uses.
Brewing started again by All Gates (aka AllGates) in 2006 in the old brewery following refurbishment. A small pub estate was built up. On 18 March 2016, All Gates Brewery Limited went into liquidation. In 2018 the premises were taken over by the Wigan Brewhouse.
