An advert from William St John

William St John & Arnison, Queen Street Brewery, 33 Queen Street East, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear.

Recorded in 1910.

Partnership dissolved 1893 with sale of brewery and c.40 houses.

However, acquired Robert Newton's Penny Hill Brewery, Holbeach, in 1895. They suffered several fires in 1898 and 1909. Possibly became St. John's Malting Co.
