West Auckland Brewery Co. Ltd, Front Street, West Auckland, Durham.

Founded 1840 as the West Auckland Joint Stock Brewery Co. Went into liquidation 1877 and was bought in January 1878 by a group of brewers and maltsters which included J W Cameron & Co. Ltd, at which time the West Auckland Brewery Co Ltd was formed.

Acquired by J.W.Cameron & Co. Ltd in 1959 with about 75 licensed houses. Ceased brewing 1962.
