Founded c.1770 by John Hayward. Registered December 1893.

Offered for sale 8th June 1902 with 47 public houses. Some pubs acquired by Hall's Oxford Brewery Ltd. 1910.

Brewery offered for sale again on 23rd July 1914 with 27 houses.

Dissolved 30th November 1917.
