Acquired in 1894 by W J Ward and in 1897 by the Licensed Victuallers Pure Mineral Water Co.
Walter Ray was a brewer at the Stone Brewery in 1859 which advertised as above in 1894 and 1895.
 
The firm was acquired by [[Walker & Son Ltd]]. of Gravesend in 1897 and the premises used for the production of mineral waters.
 
A W J Ward of the Stone Brewery was listed in the Brewers Almanac in 1895.
 
Ward may have been the Ray’s operative brewer.
 
Brewing had certainly ceased by 1911.

Walter Ray, Stone Steam Brewery, Greenhithe, Stone, Kent.

Walter Ray was a brewer at the Stone Brewery in 1859 which advertised as above in 1894 and 1895.

The firm was acquired by Walker & Son Ltd. of Gravesend in 1897 and the premises used for the production of mineral waters.

A W J Ward of the Stone Brewery was listed in the Brewers Almanac in 1895.

Ward may have been the Ray’s operative brewer.

Brewing had certainly ceased by 1911.
