William Clark had a grocery store at 52 High Street and was listed as a brewer from 1875 until 1899. This became Clark & Son in 1900 and Arnold William Clark in 1902. Listed as above from 1911. Offered for auction 16th October 1916 after Herbert's death.
Bought by the Winchester Brewery Co. Ltd. with 8 tied houses.
