W J Hunt, Golden Lion Brewery, Southwick, Hampshire.

James Hunt listed at home brew house between 1852 and 1857. William James Hunt from 1889 to 1903 then Henry William Hunt. Closed 1956 when the owner became too old to work the brewery.

Golden Lion acquired by Courage & Co. Ltd.

Several attempts have been made to restore and brew at the site. The brewery and plant are still intact.
